To add to the buzz surrounding the new electric SUV, Chevy recently announced updated range, packaging, and pricing information for the Equinox EV trims, including the Launch Edition, 1LT, 2LT, 2RS, 3LT, and 3RS
The Equinox EV is now available to order, with Launch Edition deliveries expected to arrive at your local Chevy dealership in Greenwood, SC in early 2024.
Equinox EV Range & Charging Options
The battery and motor in the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV are built on GM’s proprietary Ultium Platform, which allows for more flexible and convenient building techniques and configurations.
The Ultium Platform adapts to the type of vehicle it’s paired with. Body type, battery configuration, and drivetrain are all accommodated with the Ultium Platform, resulting in a more cost-effective design.
With the electric Equinox, you can say goodbye to high gas prices. FWD Equinox EV models have an impressive EPA-estimated 319 mile range and three charging methods:
- Standard 11.5 kW Level 2 (AC) charging - can add up to 34 miles of range per hour of charging (GM estimated).
- 2 kW Level 2 (AC) charging is available on 3RS eAWD - can add up to 51 miles of range per hour of charging (GM estimated).
- Standard DC fast-charging capability of up to 150 kW - can add up to 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes (GM estimated).
You’ll be able to charge up at over 134,000 public chargers, with more added every day. Find nearby charging stations and plan your routes with the myChevrolet Mobile App, available on both Android and iOS devices.
All-Electric Performance
The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV takes efficiency and performance to a whole new level. A front-wheel-drive system with 213 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque comes standard, providing the enjoyable driving experience you’ve come to expect from Chevrolet.
And the new Equinox EV has the power thanks to the eAWD system, which provides up to 1,500 lbs in towing capacity.
To make the most of every charge, you’ll enjoy features like Regen on Demand and One Pedal Driving. These features allow your vehicle to slow down and stop efficiently, as well as convert the forward momentum into electricity stored in the battery pack to maximize the driving range.
Advanced Tech & Safety
The all new electric Equinox is equipped with modern technology like the 17.7 inch infotainment screen, hands-free power liftgate, and a suite of driver-assist technology for compatible roads. Advanced driver-assist features include adaptive cruise control, HD surround vision, a head-up display, and rear camera mirror.
To keep you and your passengers safe, Chevy Safety Assist comes standard on all Equinox EV models. This is Chevrolet’s comprehensive suite of safety features, which include:
- Automatic emergency braking
- Following distance indicator
- Forward collision alert
- Front pedestrian braking
- Lane keep assist with lane departure warning
- IntelliBeam automatic high beams
And you’ll ride in comfort with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and ambient lighting.
2024 Chevy Equinox EV Price
With the new electric Equinox, Chevy aimed to make electric vehicles affordable. The Launch Edition, coming in early 2024, will start at $48,995. In mid-2024, the 1LT will be available with a starting price of $34,995. Chevy will release more pricing details for higher trim levels in early 2024.
