The new Silverado 1500 offers four unique engines, giving drivers plenty of powertrain choices to match their towing, hauling and everyday driving needs:
- 2.7L Turbo DOHC VVT DI with Active Fuel Management and an 8-speed automatic transmission, which delivers 310 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft. of torque.
- 3.0L I-6 Turbo-Diesel with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which provides 305 horsepower and 495 lb.-ft. of torque.
- 5.3L V-8 VVT DI with Dynamic Fuel Management with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which delivers 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque.
- 6.2L V-8 VVT DI with Dynamic Fuel Management and a 10-speed automatic transmission, which delivers 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque.
Exceptional towing capabilities are another hallmark of the Chevy Silverado. The 3.0-liter I-6 Turbo-Diesel engine delivers 13,300 pounds of towing capacity, the most of any of the Silverado engines. Additional trailering technology and eight available cameras make towing even easier.
If you're more likely to be found off-roading, the Silverado is full of off-road capabilities to make hitting any trail a piece of cake. Available selectable drive modes, four-wheel drive, and available Automatic Locking Rear Differential on certain models (ZR2, Trail Boss) allow for optimal performance on any terrain!

With a striking new look, the Chevy Silverado 1500 is outfitted with an updated front grille, redesigned headlights, and a more streamlined profile. These changes aren't just aesthetic; they also increase fuel efficiency and aerodynamics.

Connecting your smartphone couldn't be easier thanks to standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The Silverado truck also offers a 12.3-inch diagonal driver information center on the LT trim and up. Other notable tech features include an available rear camera mirror, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, wireless charging, and more!
Every new Chevy comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, a suite of safety features that includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, following distance indicator, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, and IntelliBeam.
