What It's Known For
Chevy is adding the Collector’s Edition package to select 2024 Camaro trims, adding design elements reminiscent of the ‘60s first generation models. Available in coupe and soft-top convertible variants, this latest generation Camaro is known for taking style to the streets.
Designed to optimize aerodynamics and overall performance, the lighter and sleeker sixth generation Camaro is reminiscent of the Corvette – with the addition of a back seat. Three special editions have been available throughout production, with the 50th Anniversary Special Edition and Hot Wheels Edition introduced in 2017 and the Redline Edition released during the 2018 model year.
So what’s next? Committed to producing an electric-only lineup by 2035, GM is expected to introduce an electric performance sedan to fill the gaping hole in the line-up that the Camaro will leave behind. It’s possible that GM might even recycle the Camaro name.
The Final Ride Special Edition
To ensure the Camaro finishes strong, GM is expected to release an exclusive Collector’s Edition package. While details are still lacking, it has been confirmed that the package will be available on RS and SS trims as well as select ZL1 models. Some teaser photos have been leaked, showing a wing-like rear spoiler and multi-spoke alloy wheels.
